About founding pastor-
Dan Gudim

Before launching Renaissance, Dan Gudim helped pastor churches for 12 years from the Midwest, to Southern CA, to New England.  His diverse experience gave him the skills to serve people from many different backgrounds and experiences.  Over that time, he had helped start, build, and grow multiple ministries and churches.

Along with pastoring full-time, he took to a couple of writing projects that he hoped to see published.

He enjoy the outdoors, almost all sports, cooking, bonfires with friends, but most of all, spending time with his wife, Paige, and daughter, Arabelle.

New England quickly become home as he saw a new hunger and desire for the church to thrive in this area again.  He was so excited to hear stories of the many who have been praying and have preceded him here, all with the hope that God, who began a great work here, will be faithful to complete it.

Dan moved to New England in 2022 to help plant churches in areas and cities deprived of a relevant gospel and in need of spiritual awakening.  He was on staff with Grace Church for 3 years, helping grow one of their locations to over 450 weekly attendees while overseeing their student ministry.  That allowed him to learn about New England and how to communicate a contextualized gospel effectively.  He was able to network and learn from great church planters and leaders in New England who know how to engage with the current culture.

In February of 2024, after years of prayer, the Spirit started leading Dan to Great Barrington, MA, and the surrounding areas that have been starved of a gospel-centered on Jesus.  Great Barrington is a social and economic hub for over 20 additional towns serving over 100,000 people in southwest MA, northwest CT, and upstate NY.  He quickly connected with Converge Northeast and the surrounding churches and started praying diligently about the area.  God continually opened doors to help ensure a church will open in Great Barrington and he was honored and eager to be leading the cause.

Dan stepped down from leading Renaissance Church in June of 2026 to pursue his writing efforts and follow God's leading into the next chapter of life.
